We cordially invite you to visit our town during the St. Wenceslas Celebrations on 27 - 29 September 2013, an autumnal celebration of friendships, common history, fateful meetings, good food and drink with a good dose of entertainment.

4 pm OPENING OF THE CELEBRATIONS - Celebrations will be opened by the Town Mayor Mr. Dalibor Carda.
4.10 – 5.40 pm ŠVEJK BAND - musicians of Plzeň play songs from pubs, cabarets and cafes from the beginning of the last century, old Prague and folk songs and even songs from the beginnings of tramping, famous instrumental pieces and contemporary hits.
6 – 6.30 pm SINGING CHOIR CORO MONTE ZUGNA
7 – 8 pm BRASS ORCHESTRA OF THE ARTISTIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ČESKÝ KRUMLOV - The orchestra was founded in 1966. Only three conductors replaced for its whole era the conductor's stand.

8.30 – 10 pm CIGÁNSKI DIABLI (SK)- Cigánski Diabli is the name of a unique band rated by the professionals as one of the best Ethno and World Music ensembles in the world which has had very favourable reception both at home and abroad. This orchestra introduces original pieces, audacious arrangements and unusual music combinations linking folklore with other musical genres (jazz, ethno, flamenco) and enhancing it with an exceptional virtuosity that is an integral part of the artistic impression of Cigánski Diabli. Land Exhibition 2013 in Český Krumlov:
REGIONAL MUSEUM Český Krumlov, Horní Street – Exhibition “What If…”. Around two dozen projects ranging from the medieval times until the 20th century demonstrate planes, projects and audacious thoughts for the Czech-Austrian border which were never realized for various social, economic or ideological reasons. Performing band: Krumlov Classic Guitar Duo
The SYNAGOGUE, Za Soudem Street 282 – an exhibition 4 photographers – 2 countries – region. This exhibition in the newly reconstructed synagogue shows the work of 4 photographers who had been active towards the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries in Český Krumlov, Vyšší Brod, Bad Leonfelden and in Freistadt. It focuses on architecture, traditions, religion, industry and stories of individual families living in this region. Synagogue Café & Bistrot open for business.

MOLDAVITE MUSEUM, Panská Street 19 – a newly opened museum explains the story of the Moldavites in an interesting and interactive way. You will find out about their origin, location places, forms and other topics such as the meteorites, the extinctions of the dinosaurs atc. You will also see beautiful Moldavite specimens from many locations.

4 – 5 pm ČESKOKRUMLOVSKÝ ZPĚVÁČEK – the kids´ afternoon will culminate in the most talented singer of Český Krumlov competition; children can apply on the spot.
6 – 9 pm CZECH TALENT 2013 – singing contest. The music band NÁDRŽ formed by pupils of the Elementary School Za nádražím under Radka Kmochová will perform during the event. The singer ILONA WINTEROVÁ will be the main guest of the event. Accompanying band of the contest will be GOOD COMPANY.
