In 2019, the summer Early Music Festival takes place again in Český Krumlov after 7 years' pause. It is traditionally dedicated to the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque music and the participating ensembles are specialized on early music, use copies and replicas of the historical musical instruments, and are skilled in historical performance of music.
The theme of the festival's 21st year are the songs sung on spiritual pilgrimages in Europe in the 12th–18th centuries.
